Another Stupid and DANGEROUS Deregulation by Bush: The Endangered Species Act

Well, here he goes again. Bush is planning on weakening the Endangered Species Act. Part of this is the question of the use of middle-range sonar during Naval training exercises. This sonar has been harming dolphins and endangered whales, causing such adverse affects as life-threatening hemorrhages. The Navy can exercise restraint, conduct research into developing alternative technology, and put in place protective measures for these animals during their training exercises. If you think weakening the ESA is as ridiculous and irresponsible as do I, especially considering the IUCN findings reported in my prior blog, please go to the following website before October 14th, and follow their directions to submit a comment online:

We MUST protect our environment and all the species within it. Our own survival depends upon this as our existence is intertwined with all the other species! We must prevent Bush from doing this. Please write, online or via traditional mail.
